The Highest Paid Contracts This Offseason
$168.6M | WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (24, Aquarius) — NEW CONTRACT: same team (Seahawks) 4 years, $120M guaranteed. Highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history at $42.15M/year, surpassing Ja’Marr Chase’s $40.25M. They are under contract through 2031. 2025: 163 receptions, 1,793 yards, and 10 TDs. This contract comes on the heels of Super Bowl MVP Kenneth (Seahawks RB) Walker III signing with the Chiefs out of free agency.
$124M | CB Trent McDuffie (25, Virgo) — TRADED: Chiefs → Rams
4 years, $100M guaranteed. Highest-paid cornerback in NFL history at $31M/year. In 2025: ranked top 20 in both PFF coverage grade and run-defense grade, allowing just 9.2 receiving yards per reception, tied fourth among all CBs. From California & was previously coached by the Rams pass game Coordinator.
$120M | EDGE Jaelan Phillips (26, Gemini) — NEW CONTRACT: Eagles → Panthers
4 years. Set to make $36.2M in Year 1, second only to Micah Parsons among all edge rushers. Career: 28 sacks and 150 pressures when healthy.
$114M | WR Alec Pierce (25, Taurus) — NEW CONTRACT: same team (Colts)
4 years. Led all qualified receivers with 21.3 yards per catch in 2025. 1,000+ receiving yards, 6 TDs.
$112M | EDGE Trey Hendrickson (31, Sagittarius) — NEW CONTRACT: Bengals → Ravens
4 years, $60M guaranteed. Led the NFL with 17.5 sacks and 65 pressures in 2024. Limited to 7 games in 2025 due to injury, but posted a 19.8% pass-rush win rate, sixth-best in the league had he qualified. Hendrickson is married to Alisa Hendrickson, a Doctor of Pharmacy and Master's in Healthcare Informatics, and the two are pregnant with their second child.

2 years, $50M guaranteed. Highest average annual value ($44M) of any contract this offseason. Recovering from a torn Achilles (Dec. 2025) and a fractured fibula, mentioned to be aggressively targeting training camp.
$81M | C Tyler Linderbaum (25, Aries) — NEW CONTRACT: Ravens → Raiders
3 years, $27M/year. Largest contract ever for an interior lineman in NFL history, a 50% jump from the previous record.
$67.5M | QB Malik Willis (26, Gemini) — NEW CONTRACT: Packers → Dolphins
3 years. This deal comes off a Super Bowl run as the backup QB in Green Bay and a huge performance against the Bears before the playoffs in the 2025 season. Although the Pack still ended up with the L in week 16 overtime, Willis popped onto the starter map.
